At last I’ve got a date and location for my new work. All the details have yet to be finalised but I’ll be posting them as soon as they’re set in stone.
My new stuff is Pinhole yet again. It will be based on a trip I made to Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras over a six month period. I returned to Ireland last April and have been on the lookout for a location ever since. I’m relieved yet stressed out to have an almost definite deadline to work towards!
Most of the work has yet to be printed but I’ll be using the Photo Intaglio Etching technique combined perhaps with a few more traditional etching processes. I’ll do all the work in Cork Printmakers where I’m a full-time member.
The picture below shows my Zero Image 2000 Pinhole Camera resting in situ on a cactus somewhere in Mexico.
