First Effort with a Pin-Holga

I took my first roll of film with my recently converted to Pinhole Holga. I overexposed almost every shot but this was the one out of twelve that caught my eye. I love Pinhole Photography because of pictures like this that I can’t quiet explain. I didn’t put a great deal of thought into anything on this roll. I was just eager to test the camera.

It’s a picture of an abandoned Scooter under a bridge in Cork City at the edge of the water. I’ll have to return to the scene of the crime to figure out if I double exposed or not. I haven’t yet worked out what caused the bars on the top and bottom of the shot. They are consistant throughout the roll.

UPDATE: I’ve made sense of this five minutes after uploading!
I’ve displayed the image on it’s side. It should be rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise for it’s correct positioning. However, I’m not going to adjust it. I’m going to leave it as is as a testament to my unfailing idiocy. Also I prefer it at this angle. I still love Pinhole Photography. That’s all.

Did you figure out what the bars are? They look like bits of tape. Must make a pinhole some day. Keep up the blogging 🙂

Never got to the bottom of that Rory. I’ll have to try that camera again sometime and see if the same thing happens. Could be the Holga’s fault!
